Description

Global company specialising in business solutions regarding risk and credit, with an extensive presence in South Africa has a vacancy for an Account Manager to manage their online marketing services solutions which enable clients to build data-driven, relevant relationships with their customers. This advanced technology helps marketers better understand the online behaviour of their customers and prospects, communicate more effectively, and measures ROI.

The incumbent will manage the relationship from the close of sale through to end of contract and onward renewal of a set of allocated customer accounts. To build the account in terms of revenue spend and breadth of services taken and work towards ensuring the renewal of all contracted service accounts.

Sales/New Business Development
- Increase revenue by maximising the opportunity to upsell and cross-sell to existing customers
- To identify new business opportunities by means of sales leads and referrals and manage pipeline with key internal stakeholders accordingly
- Deliver effective sales presentations to potential clients where required

Customer Relationship Management
- Managing the principal relationship with a specific portfolio of
clients
- Helping clients interpret the results of their email campaign
- Consulting with clients on a regular basis to help them build an effective email marketing strategy
- Taking client briefs on specific tactical email campaigns, to design and build HTML email templates to meet this need
- Where required, setting up, testing, and deploying clients’ email marketing campaigns using proprietary, web-based application
- Accountability for resolving client issues, proposing solutions and escalating to the appropriate person to the point of resolution

Skills:
Customer service, 3 years

Online marketing/communications, 3 years
Working knowledge of HTML, 2 years
Legislation relevant to online marketing arena, 1 year
MS Office Suite (Ms Access and Excel essential), 1 year
Sales, 3 years

Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Exposure to Microsoft Excel for managing data and performing quantitative analysis
Exposure to databases and query tools like Microsoft Access
Strong knowledge and experience in online
marketing/communication
Working knowledge of HTML 2-5 years experience in account management
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability

Additional:
Matric essential
Marketing/E-Commerce/Online Communications diploma or degree,
would be desirable
