Legal Firm is looking for an experienced Tenders, Pitches and Proposals Specialist to join their Marketing team

Key Duties:

Preparing pitches, tenders and proposals as part of a team
•      Coordinating and formatting all relevant information and liaising and following up with the internal clients to obtain necessary data
•      Generating final documentation in keeping with Brand rules and guidelines and one-firm strategy/current firm initiatives i.e. formatting word, ppt, excel documents in keeping with the Brand rules/guidelines
•      Escalating and discussing service requests with appropriate parties to obtain the relevant direction and to get alignment in order to maximise client marketing opportunities
•      Searching for tenders, RFP’s and database registrations and selecting and assessing those best suited for the Company
•      Obtaining relevant approvals to submit tenders, compile firm proposals, pitches and presentations and get sign off on the final document
•      Where necessary arranging for RFT for payments for tender documentation and arranging for the collection thereof
•      Communicating and generating the necessary reports and event logging with regards to tenders, pitches, presentations and proposals
•      Suggesting, getting approval and implementing changes to approach to improve effectiveness
•      Coordinating and arranging delivery of tender / pitch / proposal documentation and making sure to receive confirmation of delivery

Key Requirements:

•      Post-graduate degree
•      Exceptional computer literacy with the following packages: MS Office with intermediate competency on Excel
•      Excellent communication and language skills
•      Project management skills
•      Flexible approach and excellent time management abilities
•      At least five years’ experience in a marketing position
•      Exceptional attention to detail
•      A positive “can do” attitude
•      Understands client focus
•      Willingness to learn and live the Company’s values and embrace Company’s culture
•      Ability to interact respectfully and appropriately at all levels
•      Take ownership and responsibility

This position often has to deal with difficult judgment calls, last minute changes, unreasonable deadlines, frustrated clients and extremely high levels of ongoing pressure and long hours which will impact on family/personal commitments unless appropriately planned and communicated. It is essential that the successful incumbent is able to be flexible and understands urgency. They should demonstrate a clear focus on doing what is required “now” versus leaving tasks/administration till “later” due to unexpected and unplanned last minute changes and new/changed client requirements, including other events and the consequent impact of the above.
