We have an Elegant Self Catering Apartment in Glencairn, Simonstown with 1bedroom and en-suite bathroom. We supply 100% cotton bedding and Towels, and the queen-size bed is hotel standard.

A large open-plan Lounge-Dining Room with lovely sea and mountain views. TV and DVD player.
A kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge/freezer.
800m from the Beach with Tidal pool , & Train station.

There is a Spar, an Asian & Curry Restaurant within walking distance and “the Glen Hotel” lovingly known as the orange hotel- with value for money meals.
The diving and surf school is down the road. There is also a Collectables shop.

Our back garden borders on the Table Mountain National Park, and has Spurfowl, Guinea Fowl, Mongoose, Redbelly Tortoise and Porcupine as regular visitors.
Glencairn also has its own wetland area-and great walking trails in the mountains, so loads_hol for the nature lover to do and see.

We are 5km from Historical Naval Simonstown, or 1 train stop. This is also where you can swim with the Penguins at Boulders.
Kalkbay is 5km away with its traditional Fishing Harbour and loads_hol of chic shops and Restaurants and also on the train line.
Kommetjie and Noordhoek with their tremendous beaches and Lighthouse is a must see. Plus the Farm Village and Imhoff’s Farm with their camels.
Cape Point is 15 minutes drive away, where two oceans meet.
Cape Town CBD, Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront is 25minutes.
You can see the wreck of the Kakapo with a guided beach trail on Horseback from Sleepy Hollow Horse Farm that lie in the shadow of Chapmans Peak Drive.

For the golfers, there are 3 golf courses within 10km.
You can also start exploring the wine route from here as we boast with the Cape Point Vineyard, being the most southerly vineyard, and possibly best known locally for their Splattered Toad wine, which contributes to the conservation of the endangered Leopard Toad.
The Cape Argus Cycle Tour is on Sunday 11th March2012. We have some great hills for training!
We would consider clean well behaved spayed/neutered pets.
