Permanent Foods Product Development Technologist in Professional

MINIMUM CRITERIA:

Ideally BSc. in Food Science or Chemical Engineering
Will consider B.Tech in Food Science or Chemical Engineering
May consider Bsc / Btech in Bio-technology, Microbiology or Bio-chemistry.
Minimum 1-3 years working experience.

OTHER MANDATORY REQUIRMENTS:

Candidates must not be asthmatic or have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Own transport preferred, alternatively transport should be arranged when work outside of standard hours is required.
•Willingness and capability to work in a factory environment, supporting / leading trials
•Willingness to conduct a successful medical examination to confirm health ability to work in a dusty environment, including enzyme sensitivity test.
•A 5-day work-week is expected, with weekend travel occasionally required when conducting trials in other countries.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Lead and / or support the R&D activities related to the cost-effective implementation of Foods Innovation, Renovation, Line Extension and/or Cost Optimisation projects Region.
•Lead Formulation and/or Process development for pilot and main plant trials. Coordinate and/or provide input into trial preparation and trial execution, report writing and post-trial feedback
•Participate in cross-functional project teams, taking the lead in guiding the team on formulation, process, regulatory and nutrition-related matters.
