Permanent Electrician in Production


ELECTRICIAN
N’dabeni Factory

A vacancy exists in the Engineering Department for an Electrician reporting to the Electrical Supervisor at the N’dabeni Factory.

KEY RESULT AREAS:
 Fault finding.
 Plant maintenance and continuous improvement.
 Minor projects (installation and commissioning).
 Conduct regular plant inspections and repair defects
 Safety and housekeeping
 Administration

THE KEY OUTPUTS INCLUDE:
 Ensuring maximum efficient production run with minimum downtime and efficiency loss.
 Root cause analysis and repairs to filling and packing equipment.
 Electrical & mechanical fault finding plus SCADA system.
 Adjustment and setting of machinery in the plant.
 Filling shift reports, downtime reports and maintenance reports.
 Completion of legal registers as required.
 Planned electrical and mechanical maintenance, including building maintenance.
 Minor project work.
 Complete Work Orders and other administrative tasks within SAP.

KEY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
 N4 Electrical or equivalent.
 Manpower accredited Trade Certificate, preferably with a wireman’s licence.
 Minimum 3 years experience FMCG/bottling environment.
 Must be studying toward a Government ticket.
 PLC and VSD experience – Siemens and Lenze.
 Must be willing to work shifts, weekends (especially Saturday) overtime and also be on standby as per operational requirements
 Must be in possession of own transport
 Good communication skills both verbal and written.
 A team player who is keen on self development.
 Ability to work independently and under pressure.
 Strong analytical, problem solving and attention skills.
 SAP – AMM Experience
