Permanent Internal Communication Specialist in Media
responsible for overall management of the Intranet, Corporate Affairs pages on the Internet, the internal TV channel, the communication mailbox, internal announcements and project management for the CCPA team.
Key Responsibilities:
Intranet (The Nest)
Generating and collating content for the home/landing page, the corporate information and CCPA pages
Write and edit articles for the Intranet
Source and publish appropriate graphical and audio-visual content to complement textual content
Ensure that all elements of the ZAR Intranet comply with the Nestlι Global Intranet Policy
Ensuring that information on the Intranet is dynamic, always up to date and relevant
Drive traffic to the Intranet, and market it as one of the communication channels of choice
Use the Intranet to market other communication channels i.e. the magazine and TV channel
Draw up a weekly/monthly content schedule for the Intranet
Conduct regular audience surveys and generate regular reports on website traffic, to inform Intranet content
Provide guidance to the CCPA team, business units and shared services on appropriate content and correct placement of material for the Intranet
Manage the content contributors for other content pages
Internet
Maintenance of the corporate affairs pages on the Nestlι ZAR Internet
Uploading of media releases and events
Ensuring speedy publication of holding statements and media releases pertaining to crisis communication
Vigilance of corporate brand hygiene
Internal TV
Generating and collating content for the monthly programme
Develop and implement against a programme schedule to ensure timeous and seamless delivery of quality broadcasting
Provide input into the creative treatment of inserts
Write and edit scripts for the monthly programme
Provide guidance to the CCPA team, business units and shared services on appropriate content for the internal TV
Develop a schedule for the screens by sourcing, developing and publishing appropriate graphical material
Drive attendance at the broadcasts and sell it as one of the communication channels of choice
Use the TV channel to market other communication channels i.e. the magazine and Intranet
Effect continuous innovation and improvement to internal broadcasting by conducting regular audience surveys, and making corresponding changes to internal broadcasting
Communication mailboxes
Regular review of incoming mails
Speedy response and/or redirecting of queries and comments
Internal announcements
Editing of internal announcements before dissemination to ensure grammatical correctness and conformance to Nestlιs broader messaging framework
Interrogate requests for staff announcements to ensure messages take cognisance of target audiences, channel-appropriateness and timing of message-dissemination
Use internal announcements mechanism to market other communication channels
Conduct regular audience surveys to determine effectiveness of current medium of communicating to employees
Project management:
Drawing up a project management plan that reflects all activities of the CCPA department
Generating regular reports
Flagging bottlenecks and potential missed deadlines
Key Requirements:
Communications degree or public relations diploma
