OUR CLIENT BASED IN PARKTOWN IS INTERESTED AND SUITABLY QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS
PERMANENT POSITION
Salary scale: Annual Package: Maximum - R840 000.00 negotiable TCTC (Depending on experience)

• Std, working hours 8 hours per day ( flexi time with core hrs 8:30 - 3)
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
• Support Marketing with technical input for clients and for tenders
• Process design for projects
• Commissioning of process plant
• Support for the other discipline engineers
• Process development – new process opportunities
• Technology transfer
• Sound business acumen
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Develop mass and energy balances
• Flow sheet development
• P and ID development
• Control philosophy
• Equipment sizing
• Plant / Process optimization
• Plant / Process commissioning
• Customer interfacing
• Heat transfer calculations
• Refractory systems design and specification
• Interface with design engineers
• Technical support to Marketing
• Local and international travel
FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• BSc Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering or Equivalent
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• 6 – 10 years in a Non ferrous Pyrometallurgical environment. (Platinum, copper, zinc)
• Microsoft Office Skills
• Pyrosim / Metsim Knowledge
• Thermo Knowledge
ANY OTHER REQUIREMENT
• Must be willing to spend extended periods of time away from home.
