Reponsibilities:
The trainee accountant is responsible to the auditor in charge for carrying out the work allocated to them, for keeping auditors in charge informed of progress and of any problems or difficulties with that work and for ensuring that work is documented and concluded in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures. Perform work allocated with integrity & ethics. Develop and maintain sound client relationships, research best practice, identify potential new business, risk management, work according to time and financial budgets, continue to self-develop, actively contribute to accurate report writing. Ensure adherence to the audit plan. Timeously signing off the audit plan.
