Corporate image has completed successful bids including five gambling licence applications and has also conducted successful jse listings, crisis communications, investment issues, major corporate image re-vamps, and employee programmes ranging from transformation to share schemes. Corporate image was formed in 1987, operates independently, focuses on corporate image development, financial pr, positioning strategies, research, crisis communication and the full spectrum of corporate communications in the tourism, financial services, retail and other industries. Perceptions and issues management constitute an important aspect of the service and the company is retained by a number of national and multinational companies to research, analyse and identify socio-political trends and developments which affect their business. Apart from mainstream public affairs, corporate image also provides more typical public relations services and our design capability means that we are able to provide a fully integrated corporate identity advisory service. The company has a strong yet broad client-base, which includes, amongst others, sun international, pick 'n pay, the v&a waterfront, the mr price group and the south african breweries. Inherent in our dealings with all clients is an exclusivity agreement, which precludes our working for any competitor in any sector. Corporate image won the 1994 disa award for its pivotal role in securing cape town's nomination to the ioc for the 2004 olympic games and was accorded international recognition from ipra in 1996 for its work on keeping parliament in cape town.
