Why spend a fortune on biltong when you could make it yourself. It takes less than 12 hours to make snap stix and its fun for the whole family.
It’s as easy as 1.2.3
1 - Soak and spice your meat
2 – hang your meat in the biltong buddy
3 – Close the biltong buddy door and switch on .
My first thoughts when making my own biltong were quite frightening as I didn’t have a clue on what spices etc to use. I found out that the easiest and most simple way was to soak your meat in a Worstershire sauce and coarse salt mixture for a couple of hours and then hang . I still make my own biltong this way .
No mess and no fuss at all …
The boxes are hand made out of pine ply and made to the highest quality. It is then coated in a metal free non-toxic varnish which won’t taint your meat and makes cleaning out easy
