POSITION: Warehouse Leader

To manage the entire Warehouse operations, by executing the job assignments in the most efficient, safest and most professional way.
Degree level education in Business Administration/Engineering
15+ year’s material management experience, in refining and petrochemicals environment.
Minimum 7-10 years in the same area(in size & scope)warehousing operations
Minimum 3-5 years managing inventory control and material standardization operations
Minimum 5 years managing operations in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would be preferable
A difficult environment so would suit a single person for the position, as women have to cover up and are not allowed to drive so it is tough for a family..Two year commitment minimum so if someone was married but needed money they could see it as “military service” The company pays for 1 flight home every year but if the person wanted to go home every two or three months (at their cost) we could arrange something around that. We are not looking to expatriate someone to the region.
Good working knowledge of SAP
20 000m2, with a turnover of SR100 000 a month (so small operation)
It is a MRO (Maintenance Repair Operations) for a massive fuel plant. So the warehouse handles all the spares and consumables (including hazardous goods, so experience here would be valuable) that the plant needs
Inventory management/Material standardization operations using SAP
Establish benchmarks and KPIs to allow measurement of efficiency and thereby initiate changes for the warehouse, as required.
KPIs - Key performance Indicators. These are the measures in place to ensure the operations are running smoothly. In a warehouse environment this would include bin accuracy, pick accuracy, picks per person, lines per order per person, availability etc. The person would be expected to be able to answer basic warehouse questions in the interview, how do you do a cycle count? Best practice with regards to storage of certain commodities etc. Things you would expect someone from that environment to know.
Define , maintain & implement Inventory policy
Monitoring Stock Movement and forecasting trends
Implementing inventory control policies & methods
Ensure proper Control over movement of stocks
Coordination with all departments for proper functioning of warehouse.
Establish quality standards
Establish health, safety and cleanliness standards in Warehouse
Encourage team work - Controlling 25 staff
Monitoring performance and man management.
Implement stock handling standards.
To implement new procedures to minimize material handling and reduce waste.
Ensure good service to end users/clients
Develop and manage relations with customer
Grow the business
Excellent interpersonal & Leadership skills
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Excellent knowledge of basic office software
Good command on English
Man Management skills
Ability to work under pressure
Package: SR 27500 per month
SR 27500 per month – equivalent to R’s +- R72 462.50, with performance bonus close to R1 Million a year
Flights home once a year
Free meals on site (breakfast, lunch and supper)
13th Cheque possible on service delivery
Two year commitment minimum
