Regional Manager – Fashion Retail
National Fashion Retail Chain requires Regional Manager to oversee sales and operations. Candidate must have minimum of five years experience in similar position with another major FASHION Retailer with demonstrated success in motivating sales organization and driving sales.
The position requires a strong and decisive leader who is responsive and at the same time can provide well-directed and focused leadership and drive revenue. A charismatic leadership style coupled with well-balanced merchandising, operations and human resources skills will distinguish the selected candidate. This Regional Manager will be charged with maximizing sales and profitability throughout the region by providing:
Leadership in customer service excellence
Training and development of store management
Defining and supporting high standards for store productivity
Effective communication regarding inventories
Reinforcement of strategies that increase market share
Enforcing operational controls to increase sales to profit ratio
The selected candidate must have the ability to manage and facilitate change while providing focused day-to-day leadership for the region. The immediate mission of the regional director of stores will be to:
• Train and develop store managers as effective sales, operating and merchandising and human resource managers.
• Establish a culture for excellent customer service
• Evaluate talent in store, focusing on internal development
• Remove barriers to resolving customer issues for all sales associates.
• Establish accountability at the store level in customer service; sales achievement;
merchandise presentation (proper adjacencies, operational standards, visual
standards); expense control; and inventory control.
Must have Fashion retail store experience.
