What is the Certificate in Entrepreneurship?
The Certificate in Entrepreneurship, is administered in its entirety by NWU/North West University Business school, and presented by Symeology. The course itself is approved by the Higher Education SETA, and is rated at NQF Level 4. There are no academic pre-requisites in order for the learner to do the course. NWU Business school has also rated this certification as a “Bridging Course”.
Two unique programs:
NWU Certificate in Entrepreneurship is structured and presented in such a way that it benefits both the Entrepreneur as well as the Intrapreneur within the corporate environment.
For the Entrepreneur, this certification provides the theoretical knowledge and practical application to successfully launch their own concern.
For the Intrapreneur, this certification gives a bird’s eye view of the Small to Medium Enterprise - and of how the entrepreneurial process applies to the successful running of a department, division or business unit.
Course duration and examination
The course is a full 10 days of class time, run over three months.
One full week session for month one and two, then the examination over three days.
Learner Exams are run 3 weeks after the second week’s training intervention.
