RECEPTIONIST - jhb
One of South Africa leading logistics and freight company, is looking for an experienced receptionist for their office in Midrand.
Purpose of the job:
The successful applicant will take responsibility for creating an efficient and smooth-running reception experience for all visitors, including but not limited to:
Meeting and greeting customers.
Answering a busy switchboard.
Screening and directing calls where necessary.
Booking meeting rooms when required.
Sorting through and distributing post.
Maintaining spreadsheets and general administrative duties.
Maintaining a presentable reception area.
Grade 12 / Matric.
Minimum 2 yearsa€™ experience in a reception/ front-of-house role.
Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft word.
Fluency in English.
Strong communication skills.
High levels of self-presentation.
Attention to detail with good administrative skills.
The ability to work under pressure.
A pleasant and professional telephone manner.
