total privacy on the farm.

The sound of the Cape Eagle owl or barn owls at night should make your stay an once-in-a-lifetime experience. The gas BBQ patio facility allows for a variety of cooking methods. We provide facilities for charging electronic equipment, heaters in winter and field guides describing the Namaqualand flowers in detail.
Brandrivier is a working fruit farm and a bowl of fresh fruit will be welcoming you in season.
In the flower season (June to September) a vast variety of flowers can be found on the farm and in surrounding areas. Other interesting plants include the quiver tree and Tylocodon paniculates: known in Afrikaans as the Botterboom and in English as the Butter tree.
Some of the other things to enjoy while visit the area are Star gazing at night, Flower "hunting" during the day, visits to the surrounding Namaqualand parks (Goegab and the Namaqua national park are both less than 30 km away), visiting Nababeep mine museum, Hondeklipbaai or even the Richtersveld area.
Weather conditions are hot in summer and chilly (and sometimes wet) in winter.
Conveniently situated on the N7, yet away from the rustle and bustle of town, this is the perfect hide-away to visit when in the area.
