Our client, a major ICT corporation, has a vacancy for a Senior Network Engineer: Security

Permanent position

To perform basic/standard work on security systems following specific technical instructions and engineering drawings as well as referring tasks that are more complex upwards.

EDUCATION
Grade 12, NQF Level 4, plus relevant diploma, NQF Level 5 Certification in Security products

EXPERIENCE
3 - 5 year in an IT environment of which at least two years in a Security environment. Must have Perimeter skills!


CONTEXT
-Take cognisance of industry compliance requirements
-The need to be aware of changes in clients operational and medium to long term objectives and ICT requirements
-Understand the change in the service model to a services on demand model
-The need to be aware of and adhere to SLA / OLA requirements
-The need to have a conceptual understanding of the Service delivery model
-The need to be aware of emerging and current technology

ROLES
-Manage Change
-IMACD (Installation, Modification, Addition, Change, Delete)
-Provide Network Administration And Support
-Integrate Systems
-Test Systems
-Manage Capacity
-Monitor Service Levels
-ITIL Principles

Must have own cellphone, valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
