Salary region R 10 - 15 k CTC

Must perform and manage the full procurement and stock control function ensuring:
Ensure best prices are negotiated for the company and ensure high standards of quality control are maintained
Ensure the company remains competitive at all time
Source and maintain supplier relationships
Ensure accepted processes are in place with audit trail requirements
Maintain stock levels, strictly adhering to lead times
Liaise with various branches ensuring the procurement and stock is done and received on time and according to orders.
Minimum education level – Grade 12 or equivalent – tertiary qualification within procurement preferred
Minimum 5 years experience
Language requirement: English – additional language (Portuguese) an advantage
Strong understanding of procurement concepts.
Strong writing skills are imperative.
Must have advanced excel skills
Must have strong analytical skills
Commodity experience would be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of supply portfolio and market research and analysis
Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, presentation, and project management skills required.
Comfortable working remotely.
Solid phone and interpersonal skills.
Ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Traveling is necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position.
Travels domestically to and from multiple facilities or branches requiring consecutive overnight stays.
Travels cross border to and from multiple facilities or warehouses requiring overnight stay
