To become a Family Mediator, you must obtain credits in the following foundation subjects:
? 70 Hour Family Mediation Training (40h contact training + 30h pre-course reading, portfolio of Evidence)
? 24 Hour Family Law (12h Contact + 12h self-study & Port Folio of Evidence)
? 12 Hour Psychology for Mediators (8h Port Folio of Evidence)
A background in Law, Social Work or Psychology, may be recognized for exemption of some foundation subjects, but other learners must do all three courses.
