This is a great opportunity to work with one of the world’s largest business exhibition companies Africa. Our client is seeking an experienced sales executive to work on their flagship b2b residential event.
The role will involve selling exhibition stand space, sponsorship and creative solutions to clients (house builders, developers, investors, banks, funds, consultants and surveyors) Acting as brand ambassador for this high profile event, there will also be a large degree of autonomy over the South Africa operation. Responsibilities include:
* Achieve revenue targets (exhibition and sponsorship sales) - contacting existing clients on database, sourcing new business - lead chasing, networking
*Sell advertising packages (exhibition, online, sponsorship, conference marketing opportunites, creative solutions)
*Develop excellent industry knowledge, attend industry events, seminars and conferences
*Work closely with the editorial, marketing, operations divisions to ensure maximum success
*Develop and deliver sales plans, budgeting, forecasting
You will have proven exhibition sales experience and ideally experience selling to clients within the health care, Education , Networking ,Digital Marketing .
Ability to establish great sales relationships with key clients through telephone and face-to-face contact. Develop strategic & creative advertising solutions for your clients.
Working experience of effective project management from delivering previous sales packages
A hunger to reach and exceed targets
Understanding of event cycles and working with marketing and logistics functions
Ability to self-manage
